How Colour Palletes Impact The Band's Work
Colour palettes are really important for how a band is seen visually, because they communicate mood, genre, and identity right away. Using the same colours consistently makes an artist more recognisable and gives the audience an idea of what kind of music to expect. For example, muted or darker tones are often used in indie and alternative rock to create a more emotional or authentic feel, while brighter colours are more common in pop, giving a polished, commercial vibe. From this, I’ve learned how important it is to pick a consistent colour palette for my own project. I want the tones I choose to reflect the alternative rock style and themes like confidence and independence, so that the band’s identity feels clear, cohesive, and professional across all platforms.
