Target Audience

 

The target audience for my music video is 16–22-year-olds, as this age group is often going through periods of change, and self discovery. Many people in this age range can relate to feelings of uncertainty, growth, and learning to accept who they are, which links closely to the theme of metamorphosis in the video. The idea of changing, moving on, and becoming more self-assured reflects common coming-of-age experiences, such as leaving old versions of yourself behind or distancing from people and situations that no longer fit. I will be focusing on these emotions rather than a specific storyline, and the video allows the audience to identify with the character and project their own experiences onto her (Sara). This helps create a personal connection, and I want the video to feel relatable and meaningful for young audiences.
