Video Pitch
My music video follows Sara as the main character, capturing her journey through small moments of self-discovery and emotional transition. The video will use the storyboard frames I created to plan key scenes and camera angles. The video begins with Sara sitting in a cafe, showing her in a quiet, reflective moment. She then moves through different locations, including walking and stopping at a crosswalk, running, and dancing freely to the music. There will also be shots of her lip-syncing and dancing to the song, expressing her emotions. Other settings will include a mirror scene, the streets of Bucharest, a subway station, and a park, with background shots of cars, bicycles, and strangers to make the environment feel real.
The editing will include jump cuts, fast and slow motion, and collage-style transitions, highlighting her movement and reflecting the song’s rhythm. The video is designed to capture the themes of the song such as independence, metamorphosis, and self-acceptance while keeping the audience immersed in her personal world.
Unique Selling Point:
The unique selling point of the video is its emotional honesty. Sara doesn’t explain herself, there’s no dialogue or clear ending, and the focus is on her movements, pauses, and small contradictions. These show her internal struggle and journey, letting the audience watch her slowly go through a metamorphosis, moving from uncertainty to acceptance of herself and her independence.
